Some Snowtography

written by Sergio Hernandez

As you’re probably aware, we’re supposed to get hit with a major snowstorm in New York City this weekend. Earlier today, I was running some errands and wisely decided to take my camera along and grab some shots of the season’s first snowfall.

Isn’t this family adorable? Thomas says they look like an AT&T ad. Well, actually he said a Cingular ad, but I corrected him.

This squirrel was adorably munching away on, I think, a bagel. He was either really hungry or really loves the camera, because he let me photograph him from several angles without flinching.

Here’s that squirrel again, against an appropriately seasonal backdrop of snow, fallen leaves, and coniferous shrubs.

The Madison Square Park fountain. Sans water. Well, liquid water, anyway.

Even in 20-degree weather, New Yorkers will still line up for Shackburgers.

Homegirl knows what’s up. Do not come between a squirrel and his food.
