Karen Walker Would Never Stand For This
Megan Mullally is now whoring margarine for I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter!
How… unfortunate. I think at that point, I’d rather just have Sean Hayes’ career.
The ‘Hipster Grifter’ Law & Order Episode Is Here, And It’s Awesome
If, for some reason, you missed Gawker’s Kari Ferrell coverage this summer (she’s the Utah fugitive-turned-Brooklyn scam artist a.k.a., the “Hipster Grifter”), you’re missing out, dude.
Personally, I live for this kind of psychological/legal circus show. A local criminal/fugitive who gains notoriety for being inappropriately sexually aggressive and is clearly eligible for some kind of batshit, borderline personality disorder diagnosis? And whose catchphrases include such gems as, “I want you to throw a hotdog down my hallway” and refers to herself as the Korean Abdul-Jabbar? Um, Awesome.
Well, if you’re late to this story, you’re in luck. Law & Order just ripped our beard-loving con artist from Hamilton Nolan’s headlines.
Sun City, AZ is where crazy old people go to die
Wow, Arizona people are crazy.
This is a video mashup I put together for Gawker of today’s John McCain health care town hall meeting in Sun City, Arizona.
And I apologize for the poor grammatical construction of the preceding sentence.
Watch out, she just ate a cheeseburger
I guess the theme on today’s GMA is “formerly fatties” or something, because this morning, Chris Cuomo interviewed The View’s Sherri Shepard on her much-publicized weight loss.
It was a nice interview, she talked about the usual weight loss crap. And then she did a little dance for Mr. Cuomo. Which was bizarre. And hilarious. And, therefore, a classic Sherri Shepard moment.
My only complaint:

Ah well, ’tis the life of a lowly slave intern.
On eating and diction: the Frank Bruni press tour continues

I had the pleasure of watching Good Morning America at Gawker today, and came across this little gem from Diane Sawyer’s interview with departing New York Times food critic Frank Bruni.
Two notes:
1. Frank Bruni is adorable, and I want to be his friend
2. I’m conflicted over Hamilton’s use of “minutiae” in the headline, because on the one hand: it’s currently one of my favorite words and a perfectly apt description of Bruni’s recent press tour.
But on the other hand, I’ve found that I like Bruni so much, I don’t particularly learning all of this useless shit about him.
